The Paraffin bath is a heating device [using paraffin (wax)] where the patient plunges in his far hand or foot;  when his limbs are taken out the wax dries and creates a crust that traps the heat. The aforementioned method, finds application in chronic and acute arthropathiseis, in treating stiffness of joint after an injury or surgery, after assets for mobilization of joints, to traumatic and inflammatory conditions in Scleroderma, etc.
